COUNCIL MEETINGS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Council meetings are being held virtually, with limited in person access. On September 28, 2020, Council approved a Policy to allow members of the public to attend Council meetings in person, and to hear Open Delegations during the first meeting of the month. Council has the option to attend the meeting in person at City Hall but are not required to do so. This hybrid form of meeting allows participants to attend in the way that ensures their safety, and enables Council members to make decisions needed to carry on the business of the City during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
To register to attend Council in person, or to speak at Open Delegations, fill out an online form, starting six (6) days before the meeting:
Attend in person: https://attendees.newwestcity.ca
Speak to Council (available the first meeting of the month): https://speakers.newwestcity.ca
