Council Meeting Agendas, Reports, Minutes and Video

The City of New Westminster has a streaming video service that delivers live streams and archived recordings of Council Meetings. Open Council Workshops, Regular Meetings, Public Hearings and some Special Meetings are available to view, as well as archived Committee of the Whole Meetings. Live streaming is available while the meeting is in progress (see the 2020 Schedule of Regular Council Meetings and the 2021 Schedule of Regular Council Meetings).

Council meetings are being held virtually, with limited in person access. On September 28, 2020, Council approved a Policy to allow members of the public to attend Council meetings in person, and to hear Open Delegations during the first meeting of the month. Council has the option to attend the meeting in person at City Hall but are not required to do so. This hybrid form of meeting allows participants to attend in the way that ensures their safety, and enables Council members to make decisions needed to carry on the business of the City during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
