Following the direction of provincial health authorities, New Westminster Parks and Recreation is gradually reopening select outdoor park features. The City of New Westminster will be hosting a recycling drop-off event on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the engineering operations works yard located at 901 First Street. The Residential Tenancy Act has been amended to support renters and landlords during the provincial state of emergency and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The City of New Westminster greenhouse is pleased to offer opportunities for home gardening that will last all summer long. Place an order for available materials, schedule a pick-up and enjoy.
