Q to Q Ferry Schedule

FALL 2024 SCHEDULE

Service levels for the Q to Q Ferry will be reduced throughout the Fall, starting on September 3, 2024 until December 31, 2024. This schedule will follow the following hours:

WEEKDAYS

  • Leaving Quayside at 7:00 am and every 30 minutes until 7:30 pm 
  • Leaving Queensborough at 7:15 am and every 30 minutes until 7:45 pm 

WEEKENDS & STATUTORY HOLIDAYS*

  • Leaving Quayside at 10:00 am and every 30 minutes until 7:30 pm (8:30 pm on Saturdays)
  • Leaving Queensborough at 10:15 am and every 30 minutes until 7:45 pm (8:45 pm on Saturdays)

*NOTE: No service on Wednesday, December 25 and Thursday, December 26.

Remembrance Day, nov. 11

Service has been extended to enable access to the Remembrance Day ceremony at City Hall.

  • Leaving Quayside at 9:00 am and every 30 minutes until 7:30 pm
  • Leaving Queensborough at 9:15 am and every 30 minutes until 7:45 pm

End of Season

Please note a previous version of the fall schedule had service for 2024 ending December 15; the effective dates for the fall service schedule have been revised so that service will continue as posted until the end of December.

Contrary to rumours circulating in the community, the City has no plans to eliminate the ferry service after 2024. Service is expected to continue in 2025; staff are currently reviewing operating costs and will provide Council with a proposed budget for review and approval as part of the 2025 budget process. The winter schedule will be finalized once the budget is approved. Please check back at the end of December for updates.
