Our drivers operate on a 24 hours basis; however, they may not be able to answer specific questions related to your vehicle. Releasing of a vehicle may occur after hours if a tow driver is available to meet you. 

Calling ahead is required, however releases after hours are not guaranteed as drivers may be busy on other calls and unable to assist. Every effort to pick up vehicles should be done during regular office hours.  

Payment methods are by Debit, Visa, Mastercard or Cash. If a vehicle release is being done after hours, keep in mind that tow drivers do not carry change.

  • New Westminster Police/RCMP Impoundments

    If your vehicle has been impounded by the New Westminster Police or the RCMP, you will need to contact the office prior to picking the vehicle up. Vehicles can only be released to the registered owner. 

    If your driver’s license has been suspended, you will need a licensed driver to accompany you to operate the vehicle.

    Vehicles cannot be released without a valid driver’s license.

    If your vehicle was impounded and you need access to retrieve personal belongings, you are required to pay a $100 deposit that will go towards the balance of your vehicle at the end of the impoundment period. The registered owner is the only one able to retrieve belongings.

  • Parking Bylaw Impoundments

    If your vehicle has been towed for a parking bylaw, you will need to pay for towing & storage fees, as well as provide a valid drivers license.

    Parking bylaw violations also have a ticket associated, which can be paid at our office or by following the directions on the back of the ticket which will be given to the driver when the vehicle is picked up. Please note, cost of ticket will increase after 14 days; you are also at risk of being towed again if there is another parking bylaw violation and outstanding tickets.

    Vehicles cannot be parked on a city street without valid insurance and license plates. If your vehicle was towed, you will need to provide proof of insurance and plates prior to releasing the vehicle. You may also hire a tow company to remove the vehicle for you after you have provided proof of ownership and paid all towing and storage fees.

  • Motor Vehicle Accidents

    If your vehicle was towed after a motor vehicle accident, please contact ICBC as soon as possible and provide us with the claim number. If you do not have coverage, you will be responsible for the towing and storage costs.
