The City is pleased to share that as of Monday, May 4, Phase 1 of the westward expansion of Westminster Pier Park (Park C) is officially open to the public.
Completion of Phase 1 invites the community to experience the new outdoor fitness area, ping pong tables, picnic areas and riverfront tiered deck seating – all offering panoramic views of the Fraser River.
A key highlight of Phase 1 is the installation of ‘Ebb and Flow’ by Brent Sparrow and Kelly Cannell, a significant public art piece representing traditional Musqueam Salish markers, placed among ‘log jam’ seating.

Please note that the areas highlighted in blue will remain fenced off as construction continues on the remainder of the site, including the festival plaza, stage, spray park, lawn areas, dog off-leash area, and washrooms.
