Attend Council Virtually or In-Person
All Council meetings and Public Hearings are currently being conducted both online and in-person at City Hall. While observers and speakers may attend in person under the COVID-19 Public Attendance at Council Meetings Policy, the public is still encouraged to attend virtually.

New Westminster City Council meets regularly to discuss and decide on a wide range of issues related to city life. Community members are welcome to observe Council meetings, and speak to Council during specific parts of the meeting agenda.
Council meetings are held two to three times a month in the Council Chamber at City Hall. Check the calendar to confirm the date and location details.
Community members have two options to watch Council meetings:
- In person at the location noted in the Council calendar
