Centennial Community Centre

Please be advised:


All community and recreation centres are closed to the public until further notice. In addition, public park playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, artificial turf fields, skate/all-wheel parks and off-leash dog areas/dog parks are closed until further notice.


All organized and permitted events in parks and sport fields that have potential to exceed 50 people have been cancelled, including closure of field houses and change rooms.


Parks remain open. Park washroom facilities remain open and cleaned with increased frequency.


Please follow precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Centennial Community Centre specializes in fitness, music, dance, childminding, day camps, martial arts and general recreation drop-in services and registered programs.

  • Childminding

    Let us give you a break

    Childminding is available for caregivers using the facilities or participating in a program at Centennial Community Centre or Canada Games Pool.

    We offer quality staff, competitive rates and a fully equipped playroom full of games, toys, educational aids, craft stations and a purpose built outdoor toddler playground.

    Weekdays: 9:15 - 11:30 am & 5:00 - 7:00 pm
    Weekends: 8:15 am - 12:00 pm

    Drop-in Fee: $5.00 / hour
                          $40.00 for 10 hours

    Prices and times subject to change.

  • Indoor Cycling

    Fitness New Westminster’s Indoor Cycling room is complete with 25 Keiser bikes, a robust quality sound system and specialized lighting.

    Drop-in Registration is recommended as space is limited!

    • ​Reservations open Sunday, 8:30 am, prior to the week of your class.
    • Reservations require an ActivePass or admission fee payment
    • Pick up your reservation confirmation at least 5-minutes prior to class time or your reservation will be released to wait-list participants
    • Reservations are non-refundable
    • No class admittance once the class has started
    • New participants should arrive 10 minutes early for bike set up and use assistance
