Temporary Parking Impacts Due to the Massey Theatre Renovation Project, parking may be harder to find than usual February 6 to April 4, 2025. All of Moody Park Arena’s dedicated parking stalls will remain available to our patrons. Please leave extra time to arrive, walk, or use public transportation.   

 


50th Anniversary Celebration

Take a trip down memory lane to celebrate Moody Park Arena turning 50. Walk on the ice to write your Moody Park Arena memories on the ice between 3:30-5:00 pm. Mayor Johnstone will say a few words, followed by cake in the lobby. Jump into the photo booth, put your name in the prize draw, and more!  

Saturday, March 29
3:30-5:00 pm     50th Anniversary Celebration. No skating. Free. 
6:30-8:00 pm     Skate on the written memories at Family Skate. Admission fees apply.

Decade Public Skates

Skate through the decades at Public Skate, March 24 - 29. Starting with the 70's on Monday, each Public Skate will feature musical hits from a different decade, and photo displays sharing the arena's history will be in the lobby. Costumes are optional. Admission fees apply.

  • Dryfloor Programs

    Lacross, Ball Hockey, and more!

    In the spring, Moody Park Arena melts the ice to accommodate indoor lacrosse, ball hockey, and other dryfloor programs.

    Register for Programs

  • Warm up after a skate with a hot chocolate or enjoy a bag of fresh popcorn! Beverages and snacks are available.

    We also have skating related merchandise including laces, lace tighteners, and hockey tape.

    Concession is open during public skate and lesson program times.


  • Do you need to rent skates or borrow a helmet? We have a large selection of quality equipment for use at public skates and lessons. Our friendly, experienced staff can also provide advice if you are looking to purchase your own equipment. We also offer skate sharpening.
