Sapperton Landing Park

A regional Metro Vancouver park.

Sapperton Landing Park, established in 2001, is an 8 acre $10M Metro Vancouver regional park funded through the Millennium SkyTrain line development based on City property allocated to Translink.

This three way partnership resulted in a unique linear park designed to feature the beauty and power of the mighty Fraser River.

Further, the parks environmental design include backwater tidal channels, riparian woodland filled with native plants to encourage salmon, bird, insect and wildlife habitats.

The park is a beautifully landscaped 1 km walk with bridges, benches, view points to watch tug boats and marine birds go about their day.
