Indoor Facility Rental Application

This application is for consistent weekly or monthly user groups requesting dedicated, ongoing facility rental space for the upcoming allocation seasons. This application form covers space allocations for pools, ice rinks, arena dry surface, gymnasiums, meeting rooms and multi-purpose rooms at təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre, Moody Park Outdoor Pool, Queensborough Community Centre, Moody Park Arena, Queen’s Park Arena, Queen’s Park Sportsplex, Centennial Lodge, and Century House. The intake process follows a biannual schedule. 

Applications for Large Competitions and Special Events, which require advanced notice, may be submitted outside of the allocation dates.

PLEASE NOTE: Proof of insurance is required once the space has been allocated. Starting June 1, 2024, the City of New Westminster will provide insurance add-on options for rental contracts.

Priority Use criteria

Space allocation is prioritized based on group designation as follows:

1. Parks and Recreation department programs, events, and services
2. Department or City community partnership events
3. Youth Activity Groups or School District #40
4. Non-profit resident organizations with prior rental agreements in good standing
5. Public Schools outside of New Westminster
6. Other non-profit organizations with prior rental agreements in good standing
7. Commercial Groups

Special or extraordinary booking requests are subject to a department review and may not be accommodated.
