Finance, Taxes & Budgets

The Finance Department consists of the following divisions:

  • Collection Services, responsible for calculating and levying property taxes, electrical / water / sewer / solid waste utility billing, and collection of payments to the City.
  • Financial Services, responsible for long-term financial planning, annual budget development, investments, accounting, treasury and cash management and all statutory financial reporting.
  • Finance Administration, responsible for the strategic direction of the department, policy development, liaison to city council and oversight of the financial planning process.
  • Purchasing Services, responsible for developing and monitoring compliance with the City’s procurement policy and procedures, and overseeing all purchasing requirements, tenders and purchase orders.
