Day Camps

Discover adventure and excitement with activities that challenge creativity and imagination.

Day camps are available during winter break, spring break, and summer for children 3 - 15 years.

Recreation Camps:

  • Day Camp Mini (3 - 5 years) - An introduction to the world of camp! Activities include, art, crafts, games and more. There will be plenty of outside time too.
  • Day Camp Junior (5 - 7 years) - Activities include high energy games, outdoor play and amazing art. Each week, this camp will enjoy a swimming, gymnastics or skating outing.  Children must have attended Kindergarten prior to the summer. 
  • Day Camp Children (8 - 12 years) - From out trips to games to art, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Each week, this camp will enjoy a swimming, gymnastics or skating outing. 
  • Outdoor Day Camps (5 - 12 years) - Experience camp in the outdoors! Camp highlights include arts, crafts, games, water park fun and community exploration.
  • Single Day Registration - Single day registration is available for Day Camp Junior and Day Camp Children at our indoor locations. Registration closes the Thursday before camp begins.
  • Camp Care - Drop off children earlier or pick up later. Camp Care will only be available for Day Camp Junior and Day Camp Children during the summer at our indoor location. Registration closes the Thursday before camp begins.
  • Sports Day Camps (5 - 15 years) - Camps include cycling, martial arts, multi-sports and sport specific programs.

Arts and Heritage Day Camps:

  • Art Camps (4 - 14 years) - Various creative experiences explore studio arts, musical theatre, magic, music, LEGO Technic, and more!
  • Art & Tech Camps (7 - 12 years) - Learn how technology can be used for creative purposes, critical thinking, and the creation of meaning.
  • Dance & Performing Arts (6 - 12 years) - Explore dance through art, games and movement. Dance steps will be taught in a variety of genres.

  • Anvil Centre

    Camps will be located throughout the centre. Check the registration confirmation for the room of your camp.

    Centennial Community Centre

    Camps will be located throughout the centre. Check the registration confirmation for the room of your camp.

    Fraser River Middle School

    Camps will be located throughout the centre. Check the registration confirmation for the room of your camp.

    Lower Hume Park

    Meet at picnic shelter near the parking lot and washrooms in the lower region of the park.

    Queensborough Community Centre

    Camps will be located throughout the centre. Check the registration confirmation for the room of your camp.

    Queen’s Park Picnic Shelter

    Meet at the picnic shelter west of the band shell and north of the concession. Parking is located behind Queen’s Park Arena. Enter next to the former farm and follow the path north towards the large picnic shelter.

    Ryall Park Picnic Shelter

    Located in the picnic shelter at this park. Parking can be limited. Street parking is available.
