The Active Living Guide is the most popular and viewed Parks and Recreation Brochure, sharing seasonal drop-in schedules, lessons, courses, workshops, and events around the city.
Community Page promotes the services and events of eligible community groups at no cost.
Distribution & Exposure
- Published online and receives ~20,000 views each quarter.
- Social media to 43000 follows over 6 platforms.
- Email newsletters to 5800 contacts.
Eligibility
Community Page is available to
- Groups physically located in the City and who primarily serve City residents.
- Non-profit social service agencies, arts and culture organizations, or minor sports organizations
Limit one submission per eligible community group per Active Living Guide issue. Submissions by ineligible organizations, or ineligible submissions, will not be used or followed up upon. SUbmission Guidelines
Two options for submissions are available: text-only submission or graphic-only submission. Please ready the guidelines carefully. If your submission does not meet these guidelines it will not be included.
Text-Only Submission
The Marketing Team will format your submission for you. No images are included. You will provide:
- Title (up to 30 characters)
- Description (up to 250 characters. Include locations, fees, etc. here.)
- Email Address (optional, must not be personal)
- Phone Number (optional, must not be personal)
- Website (optional)
Graphic-Only Submission
Graphics should include all relevant information. They must be:
- 3.625 in x 1.825 in (1088 px x 563 px)
- No Bleed
- 300 ppi
- JPG, JPEG, or PNG
Please hire a professional graphic designer or submit a text only add if you don't understand these requirements.
