Recreational sports leagues for teams of all levels and abilities. 

Sports leagues are not eligible for subsidy.


  • Ball Hockey League

    Fast paced recreational league for ages 17+ years.

    2021 Fall - 2022 Winter Season

    See division standings.

    This is a fast-paced, recreational league, complete with CBHA certified referees. Dates include select long-weekend breaks.

    Queen’s Park Sportsplex
    Friday & Sunday, various times
    September - April

    Registration Fee: $2975.00 per team

    League Overview:

    • Approximately 20 game schedule
    • Five on five play
    • Playoffs best of three games (finals at minimum)
    • Regular season two x 20 min periods
    • A, B and C divisions with 20 teams
    • CBHA sanctioned league with BCBHA custom software with website and player insurance

  • Slo-Pitch League

    Recreational co-ed slo-pitch for 19+ years.

    2022 Spring-Summer Season

    Gather a group from work or friends in your neighbourhood and enter a team in this co-ed recreational slo-pitch league. Divisions each play 10 games plus a weekend of playoffs. Games are scheduled Tuesday, Thursday or Friday evenings at various fields in New Westminster. First and second place winners will receive divisional prizes for the entire team. Field allocations will be announced closer to these season. 

    April 22 - July 8, 2022 - Regular Season
    July 15 & 16, 2022 - Mandatory Playoffs

    Alcohol in Parks:

    Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in most sport field areas. Please review designated areas and drink responsibly.

  • Volleyball League

    Recreational co-ed volleyball for 19+ years.

    2022 Winter Volleyball Season

    This recreational co-ed league is complete with referees, standings, cash prizes and 14 weeks of recreational play time including playoffs. With space for 16 teams, max 8 in each division, limited openings are available. Once registration is full a schedule is sent confirming playing times for the entire season. Team stats and rankings are recorded to help create a playoff schedule for the last game.
