Biohazard Removal Program
As part of the Crises Response Pilot Project and the Downtown Livability Strategy, the City of New Westminster is working with a specialized company that is trained and able to deal with biohazardous waste.
Please note that at this time, the waiver program is available to business in the Downtown neighbourhood only.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
If you are unsure as to whether your business qualifies, reach out to crisesresponse@newwestcity.ca and someone will get back to you during business hours. Please note the contracted team works on a specific route during certain times of day.
IF I QUALIFY, HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Eligible business must complete a waiver.
- The waiver must be signed by the participating business and the property owner. There is also a requirement for the property owner's signature to be witnessed.
- The waiver must be submitted to crisesresponse@newwestcity.ca. Please note you will not be added to the clean-up route until you have received a confirmation from this email address.
