We are thrilled to have reopened our facilities

As you will have expected, COVID-19 safety requirements have changed how we can operate and the number of participants we can accommodate. It is important to closely review all service and safety information in the Active Living Guide and during program registration / drop-in reservation. We want you to be fully informed and prepared to participate safely!

Service delivery and policies are subject to change to meet evolving COVID-19 regulations. We'll do our best to provide updates.

We look forward to hosting another fall season of exciting recreation in New Westminster.

How to Register:

Advanced reservation is required for all activities (no drop-ins permitted). 

Registered Programs Registration:

Ongoing as of September 8

Reserved Drop-in Activities:

New Westminster residents: may book three days in advance.
Non-residents: may book two days in advance.

  • New Safety Measures

    Advanced reservations or registration is required for all activities. This is to help manage program and space capacity and allow for contact tracing if necessary.  

    What to know before you go:

    • Drop-in visit are not permitted. Book class reservations online or by phone (limit of one reservation per day).
      • 3 days prior for New Westminster residents, 2 days prior for non-residents.
    • Participant cancellations must be made with 24 hours’ notice to qualify for a refund.
    • If you do not have a prepaid activity booked you may not be able to access the recreation facility.
    • Maintain a 2-metre distance from others at all times.
    • Arrive 10 - 15 minutes prior to activities for check-in or as indicated in the Active Living Guide.
    • Come dressed to participate in your reserved activity. Change room, shower and washroom access will be limited.
    • Bring your own mat, towel and water bottle. Access to water fountains/bottle fillers will be limited.
    • Please follow all signage and from staff staff direction . 
    • Childminding Services are not available in the fall.

  • Parks and Recreation Cancellations:
    Refunds are provided according to the Refund Policy or COVID-19 requirements. 

    Reserved Drop-in Bookings:
    Customer requests for withdrawal must be made 24 hours prior to the start of a Reserved Drop-in class. Non-attendance is not accepted as a cancellation request and may result in revoked service/registration privileges.

    Registered Programs, Lessons & Rentals: 
    Cancellation requests must be made with 7 days’ notice of the program start. Refunds related to registered programs, private lessons and rental bookings are subject to withdrawal or cancellation fees.
