City Hall to permanently extend hours of operation

New Westminster – The hours of operation for New Westminster City Hall will officially be extended following a successful pilot project that began in March 2015. The new permanent hours of services will be:

Mondays: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
Tuesdays – Fridays: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

“Based on the feedback we received from residents and businesses, there was strong support for the initiative, and as a result, the extended hours of service at City Hall will continue,” said Mayor Jonathan X. Coté. “We found that by opening earlier and closing later provides enhanced and expanded customer service by offering the public more flexibility to conduct their business with City Hall.”

The new hours of operation will be effective starting January 1, 2016.
