Youth Week is a BC-wide celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. We aim to recognize the positive contributions young people make in our communities, and to celebrate the valuable work youth do all year round. Take a look at the week of fun and exciting events that we hope will continue to build strong connections between youth and the City of New Westminster.
Drop-in Fee: $1.00 or FREE with New West Youth Membership!
- Monday, May 2: Youth Week Couture - Design your own shirt for the week
New West Youth Centre, 3:00 - 6:00 pm
- Tuesday, May 3: Youth Week Legacy Project: Group art project in the park
Moody Park, 3:00 - 6:00 pm
- Wednesday, May 4: New West Youth Awards: Recognizing outstanding young people

- Thursday, May 5: Good Vibes: Learn self-care skills
New West Youth Centre, 3:00 - 8:00 pm
- Friday, May 6: Volleyball Classic: Sign up a team! Includes exhibition match NWPD vs. NWFF
New West Youth Centre, 4:00 - 10:00 pm
- Saturday, May 7: Youth Week Wrap Party: Celebration, music, inflatables and of course treats!
New West Youth Centre / Moody Park, 12:30 - 3:00 pm
- May 2 - 6: Gladiator Games: A FREE week-long event. Do you have what it takes?
