Children who develop active lifestyle habits at a young age learn to get active, and stay active!

New Westminster Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer free admission to drop-in programs for Grade 5 and Grade 6 students who are New Westminster residents. 

Grade 5 & 6 ActivePass includes free drop-in visits for:

• Gymnastics
• Swimming
• Skating
• Sports
• General Interest

Grade 5 ActivePass includes unlimited free visits September 2, 2025 - June 25, 2026.

Grade 6 ActivePass includes 10 free drop-in visits September 2, 2025 - June 25, 2026.

Sales open September 2 for the school year September 2, 2025 - June 25, 2026.
 

How to Apply:

• Complete the application form with a signature from a school teacher or principal to confirm the child's age, or present a birth certificate and proof of residency in New Westminster at the time of application.
• Visit any New Westminster Recreation Facility with the completed application form.
• The child must be present to take a photo for their pass.

NOTE: If the child does not already have an account, a parent must be present at the facility to create the account before a pass can be issued.

• Bring your ActivePass and scan at reception for free admission to drop-in programs.
