New artificial turf field drop-in engagement session

The City is exploring the addition of one new regulation-size artificial turf sports field to enhance recreation opportunities in New Westminster. Over the past few months, we've been working closely with a Sports Leadership Group representing various sports field user groups to identify the best location for a new field. After careful consideration and consultation, two potential sites have been short-listed:
- Terry Hughes Park
- Ryall Park
Before we proceed to a detailed feasibility study, we are now checking in with these neighbourhoods at two upcoming drop-in events. Stop by anytime during the dates and times below:
- Terry Hughes Park: Monday, Feb. 10, 3:00 - 6:00 pm, near the playground area
- Ryall Park: Thursday, Feb. 20, 3:00 - 6:00 pm, in the Queensborough Community Centre lobby
