The Downtown New West Market Crawl is a guided tour that takes you through four unique markets, each featuring independent artisans while also giving you a deeper look at the businesses that shape the area.

A guide will lead a small group through the neighbourhood, sharing insights into the local history and community while stopping at each market for 15 to 30 minutes:

• Arts New West at River Market (810 Quayside Drive) – A collection of work from Canadian artists and makers at the New West Quay River Market.

• Designs by Jules in Shops at New West (800 Carnarvon Street) – Julies Designs has partnered with First Capital to open new community space for fun activations like this market!

• Indigenous Art Market (721 Carnarvon Street) – A showcase of authentic Indigenous art, crafts, and handmade goods at the newly opened Native Art Renaissance Foundation and Gallery.

• Deathcap Tattoo Art Market (#301-332 Columbia Street) – A unique location this tattoo studio transformed into a market highlighting handcrafted designs and unique art pieces.

Depending on your tour choice, each group will stop to enjoy a treat at one of the following participating businesses, including Origins Chocolate Bar or Cake It Easy. The cost of the treat is covered in the ticket price, allowing participants to experience some of the area’s favorite spots while they explore.
