Welcome to My Renaissance is a vibrant group exhibition curated by Arts New West’s Indigenous Curator, Bluesky – James Groening. Showcasing the work of several local Indigenous artists, the exhibition is a celebration of Indigenous identity, culture, and resilience through contemporary visual art. Each piece speaks to personal and collective journeys of reclamation, creativity, and self-expression.

The exhibition also features a special youth showcase at the Centennial Lodge, highlighting the voices and talents of six emerging Indigenous youth artists.

Open throughout the Canada Day weekend, Welcome to My Renaissance invites visitors to reflect, connect, and celebrate the strength and beauty of Indigenous artistry in our community.

June 26 - Opening Reception is 6:30pm-8:30pm 
June 27 - Exhibition is open 10am to 2pm
June 28 - Exhibition is open 10am to 4pm
June 29 - Exhibition is open 10am to 2pm
July 1 -  Exhibition is open 10am to 5pm
