Artist-in-Residence George Rahi explores the relationship between culture and place, drawing inspiration from both New Media Gallery and the City of New Westminster to create an immersive sound installation.

Responding to the dynamic interplay between the city and the Fraser River, he translates these connections into experiential events within the gallery. Encounter automated musical devices striking strings and chimes, working together to build a layered, orchestral soundscape.
