Join us on January 14, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Council Chambers, City Hall for a free Community Events Workshop.

This event is open to all current event organizers including 2026 grant recipients and anyone interested in organizing community events in the future and focuses on the City’s processes and practices to support event organizers delivery safe and fun events in the City. Learn best practices and gain useful tools to help plan and deliver successful events in New Westminster, with time for questions and discussion from departmental representatives.
