Glenbrook Ravine Restoration "Weed Pull"

Glenbrook Ravine
Join us at the beautiful Glenbrook Ravine, 10am-1pm (drop in for 20 minutes or 2 hours) and enjoy this chance to build community and re-naturalize our local green spaces.
The working location changes a little every time, but we are usually close to the middle section of the park and are hard to miss.  Parking and washrooms are available up at the nearby təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre.  There is limited accessible parking on Jamieson Court.

Everyone is welcome; while we will be focusing on reducing the  impact of invasive Himalayan blackberry, there will be ways for people of all ages and abilities to contribute.
We have some snacks and tools available, we just ask that you bring your own water and make sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather and for gardening.

The restoration effort at the Glenbrook Ravine is being led by the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver, the City of New Westminster Parks and Recreation, and New Westminster Environmental Partners
