GLENBROOK RAVINE RESTORATION - WEED PULL
May 30, 2026
May 30, 2026
10:00 am
1:00 am
Glenbrook Ravine
Join ISCMV, the City of New Westminster, and the New Westminster Environmental Partners for another community building, soul-filling, stewardship event at Glenbrook Ravine!

During this event, we will be focusing on removing Bindweed, Balsam, and Dame's Rocket. This is a family-friendly event, and we have ways for people of all ages and abilities to get involved and contribute. You do not need to be a resident of New Westminster to participate. All are welcome! We will be working rain or shine.
Drop in for 20 min or 2 hours - we can't wait to have you join us.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear (something with ankle support and closed toes).  We also recommend sunscreen/hat, your own filled water bottle and your own gardening gloves (if you have them)
We have some snacks, tools to lend and coloring activities for kids.

Parking is available at the nearby təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre (these are also the nearest public washrooms) with some limited accessible spots on Jamieson Court.  Our work tends to be near the center of the park, so you need to walk in a little ways to find us.

A waiver will be required for everyone to sign and will be valid throughout 2025. Anyone under the age of 18 will need permission from a parent/guardian
