Stay a little longer to see and listen to Beau Wheeler:
"One of Vancouver's punchiest indie singers." --Fish Griwkowsky, Edmonton Sun
Beau Wheeler is a queer non-binary singer songwriter and producer based in so-called Vancouver, Canada. Beau's grandfather played piano with Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis Jr. Beau started writing songs at 13 years old and never stopped.
Beau's new self produced electro pop record Trans was recorded at the Warehouse Studio funded by Creative BC. After it’s release Beau opened for Jane Siberry to a sold out audience at the Rickshaw Theatre.
Blessed with a set of pipes that could give Freddy Mercury a run for his money, Beau recently released two new albums. One more dark wave analogue synth pop record is set to be released in 2026 produced by Jason Corbett of ACTORS.
With songs that touch on love, loss and redemption, and an unflagging ability to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again, Beau, who recently came out to the world as trans, is one of Canada’s brightest lights and an artist to watch out for.
