The Talking Circle
May 7, 2026
1:00 pm
3:00 pm
740 Carnarvon Street
The Talking Circle is led by the City of New Westminster's Crises Response Outreach Team, and is funded by Health Canada's Emergency Treatment Fund.

Participants are able to enjoy a casual gathering and meet with an Indigenous elder. The Talking Circle welcomes anyone who self-identifies as Indigenous. Food and refreshments are provided, and the Thursday May 7 edition will also include an opportunity to make Bannock! Did you know that there are many different kinds of Bannock—from savory to sweet—including the type in the included photograph? This Bannock was served to participants at a Talking Circle earlier this year.
