Please join us for the opening reception of: kʷәcstәxʷ - A Celebration of Indigenous Artistry at the Amelia Douglas Gallery.

In the spirit of kʷәcstәxʷ, the Amelia Douglas Gallery at Douglas College invites you to join us in witnessing the achievements of six of inspiring Indigenous artists who exemplify creativity, ingenuity, and excellence. In their own unique ways, these artists honour ancestral traditions while engaging contemporary art forms and media. Their work stands as a testament to resilience and innovation, bridging past and present through practices that are both culturally grounded and artistically original.
