Data Requests

If you are looking for specific data or information that is not available on the City’s Open Data Portal, please contact the GIS team at gis@newwestcity.ca. 

When submitting a request, please include a brief description of the data you are seeking. If possible, please also provide a short description of your project and the name of any City staff you may be working with, as this can help us better understand and respond to your request.

Many commonly requested datasets are already available for download through the City’s Open Data Portal, and additional interactive mapping tools and information can be found in the City Maps section of our website.

The GIS team will review your request and respond to let you know whether the data is available and how it may be accessed.

Please note that some information may be subject to privacy, security, or other regulatory restrictions.
