Food Services Space

  • Who will operate the food services space?
    The City is currently exploring options to move forward with operating the food services space. These options includes but are not limited to internal city food services and external vendors. If the decision is an external vendor, a formal process for interested parties will be available on our website.
  • When will the food services space be operational?
    Many steps need to take place in order to ensure the space best reflect the community needs. The approximate anticipated date is late fall 2025 to early winter 2026 and is dependent on the course of action decided for the space.

  • Why is the City asking about food services?
    The City is connecting in-person in the lobby of təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre in early March 2025. Feedback will help understand what the community is hoping to see in the space and the data gathered will help guide decision-making.

  • Are there any current food services at təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre?
    The facility currently hosts two vending machines on level 1 by the large gymnasium and two vending machines on level 2 by the universal washrooms. The facility has a dedicated space on the far end of the drop-off zone in front of the building for food trucks, booking through the facility is required.
