Westminster Pier Park - Toddler Play Tower Replacement
What's HAPPENING?
A replacement play structure has been selected for Westminster Pier Park and will be installed in April 2023. The new toddler play structure features a slide, interactive play panels, and suspension bridge.
The play area is anticipated to open on Sept 13 in the afternoon.
Project Background
On May 13th, 2021 the toddler play structure located west of the concession and washroom building in Westminster Pier Park was removed due to vandalism. An online public survey was conducted (Summer 2021) to confirm the community need for a toddler play structure or an alternate use for this location. Responses indicated a clear majority preference for age-targeted toddler play equipment similar to the previous structure.
