RCH Redevelopment Project
Phase 2 anticipated completion: 2026
Phase two will include the construction of a new acute care tower, an underground parkade, a new main entrance, and a rooftop helipad. Some aging buildings will also be replaced along with site enhancements. Phase two construction is expected to be complete in 2026.
Phase three of the redevelopment project will upgrade and expand areas in the existing Health Care Centre and Columbia Tower to support the beds and services added in phase two. Phase three is projected to start in 2023 and complete in 2026.
Construction hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm (except holidays) and Saturday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
