Due to weather conditions, paving work on 16th Street (from Edinburgh Street to 6th Avenue) and on 8th Avenue (from 14th Street to 18th Street) is anticipated to be completed Spring 2026.

Please be advised Sandpiper Contracting LLP is scheduled to start utility upgrades the week of November 17th, 2025, along Eleventh Street from Third Avenue to Sixth Avenue.

Impacted Roads:
Eleventh Street: Third Avenue to Sixth Avenue. Road will be closed in segments to local traffic only. Temporary property access restrictions, as well as parking will be impacted. Please obey “no parking” signs as they will be moved daily. Temporary sidewalk restrictions.
PROJECT DETAILS
The project will include sewer separation work, installing green infrastructure (rain gardens), and replacing water mains that are at the end of their service life and due for replacement. The water main and sanitary sewer replacement program is intended to renew our aging infrastructure and to improve quality and capacity where required.
