Capital Paving is ongoing through Spring 2027
Ninth Street between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue: October 19 to 23 (weather-dependent)
- Milling, paving, and grading work will take place on Ninth Street.
- Speed humps will also be installed as part of the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Street Corridor project in the Active Transportation Network Plan. This work is being coordinated to minimize the impacts of these projects.

Ninth Street will be closed, but access to properties will be maintained. Street parking within the work zone will be restricted during working hours, and temporary No Parking signs will be posted in advance of the work.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while these improvements are being completed.
Why are we doing this work?
On the surface, these roads may appear to be in reasonable condition. However, pavement assessments show that repaving is needed to address early deterioration before more serious damage develops. Completing the work now will extend the life of the road, provide a smoother surface and help avoid more extensive and costly repairs in the future.
