Front Street Parkade Rehabilitation Project
Partial parkade closure until Spring 2027
Project information
The Front Street Parkade Rehabilitation project is intended to renew our aging infrastructure and to improve quality and capacity where required. The project will include concrete repairs, waterproofing membrane replacement, stair railing replacement and pedestrian walkway replacement. Noisy work will occur, including jackhammering, grinding and generator noise.
The project is being done in phases to keep the parkade open for the duration of the project, with restrictions to some parking areas, traffic flow and pedestrian access.
Traffic impacts
The parkade remains open for parking. Please note that there will be restrictions to some parking spaces as work progresses.
The Fourth St. and Sixth St. ramps will have periodic changes to their traffic patterns or closures with signage to direct traffic.
