Queensborough Sanitary Pump Station SA-11 Upgrades

Anticipated Construction Dates: October 1 – March 31

Project Background

The Sanitary Pump Station SA-11 Upgrade Project will renew existing sanitary infrastructure and improve the reliability and capacity of the sanitary distribution system.

The sanitary pump station is located on Queensborough Middle School property and the work is being coordinated with the school. We will make every effort to minimize inconvenience and disruption during construction.

Project Updates

Construction Impacts:

  •  Construction noise and dust
  • Temporary staging area and site fencing around the sanitary pump location
  • Construction vehicle traffic along Lawrence Street. Construction vehicle traffic will be restricted at school drop off and pick up times.

Duration: 

  • October 1 – March 31, 2027 (Weather-dependent)

Hours of Work:

  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Saturdays: Not scheduled, if required hours will be 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
