WWI Memorial
This is a World War I memorial cenotaph, featuring a bronze statue of a soldier atop a stone and aggregate plinth created by George Patterson in 1922. The statue is of a male soldier in full military uniform holding a rifle with bayonet standing atop a small mound. The plinth has several bronze plaques adhered around the sides and is installed onto a square cobblestone and aggregate base.
Funds to pay for the commission were raised by the Board of Trade Committee.
