Community Displays in Recreation Facilities
All materials must be printed and submitted to facility staff.
Who is eligible to advertise in facilities?
- City of New Westminster
- Community groups: Any New Westminster non-profit social service agency, arts and culture organization, or minor sports association physically located in the City of New Westminster who primarily serve New Westminster residents.
How can they advertise?
- Space is not guaranteed. Marketing display space is prioritized for City services.
- Community Information displays are at City Hall, Century House, Moody Park Arena, Queen’s Park Arena, Queensborough Community Centre, and təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic & Community Centre. These include a bulletin board for posters, and displays for 8.5x11in or 5.5x8.5in flyers. 11x17in posters are eligible for display at Queen’s Park Sportsplex and Moody Park Outdoor Pool.
- No personal information (names, personal addresses, or email addresses) should appear.
- The requester must leave a printed copy to front desk staff that will later be reviewed by the Facility Manager. If approved and if there is space, staff will post the material.
- Materials posted without approval will be removed and recycled.
