City of New Westminster launches social media public perception survey

New Westminster, BC – The City of New Westminster has launched an online public perception survey in order to gauge the public’s perception of the City’s current use of social media. The survey also seeks to find out what social media initiatives citizens would like to see the City use in the future.

This survey marks the beginning stages of a City social media plan that will be developed throughout the year, with the guidance of Hyack Interactive, a local social media, writing and marketing company.

“As we move forward with this initiative, we really want to find out how citizens use social media in their day to day lives,” said Blair Fryer, Communications Manager. “We’ll use that feedback to ensure that our overall plan for engaging with social media meets the needs of New Westminster residents.”

The public can complete the survey online through https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WebsiteCNW. Links to the survey will be active for one month.
