Misting stations installed this summer were left in place due for an extended time due to the warm weather experienced in September.

Staff will begin decommissioning and removing all of the City misting stations throughout October. The existing locations include; Hyack Square, New Westminster Public Library, Westminster Pier Park, and Thompson’s Landing Park.

Misting stations will be reinstalled for Summer 2023. Locations will be chosen based on public feedback and staff recommendations. Additional public engagement will be scheduled for Spring 2023
