Seniors in the City Getting Engaged - Your Community, Your City
Spend an afternoon with New Westminster City Councillor Ruby Campbell, exploring how to engage with your City. We will delve into Be Heard New West, the interactive, online space where community members can learn about a variety of City projects and share their feedback and ideas, learn how to find out about completed city projects and find related information, search the City’s open data catalogue (and find out why it is super cool!), and discuss what opportunities are there to contribute to decision making processes and share who does what in your City.

The Time Machine - with susie francis & the versatiles
Taking you from 1900 to 1980 with music, laughter and song, the Time Machine is a chance for this group of senior performers to get up on stage with a fistful of memories and loaded with laughter that they promise will have you rolling in the aisles.

Ranj Singh is returning to Century House! A crowd favorite from the outdoor art series last summer. Ranj plays a wide range of music that you’re sure to enjoy, including Indo-Canadian folk where eastern rhythms and melodies meet western folk rock. Coffee, tea, and treats provided.

Dental Hygiene & Oral Health Workshop
Older people are at risk of chronic diseases of the mouth, including dental infections (e.g., caries, dry mouth, denture stomatitis, periodontitis, tooth loss, oral candidiasis and oral cancer etc.). Learn the most common oral conditions that impact seniors and how to prevent them. Also, discover how proper food choice and oral self-care are beneficial for seniors to keep good oral health.
