The existing sports field lights will be upgraded to efficient LED technology with new control system, and existing poles will be replaced. Construction is expected to begin in mid-to late June 2024, with the start date dependent on weather and onsite ground conditions. The field is expected to reopen in fall 2024.

During construction, the soccer field and baseball diamond will be closed, while the washroom building, playground, and the rest of the park will remain open.

Expect partial road closures on Sherbrooke Street for up to a week for electrical connections, managed by traffic control personnel.

The City appreciates everyone's patience and understanding during the construction period.

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Some construction may be required beyond 5:00 pm and on Saturdays.
