As part of the WALK30 Challenge, Mayor Patrick Johnstone is hosting a Walk with the Mayor. Join the Mayor to walk different neighbourhoods in New West and chat about the City and more. Walks times vary from 25 – 45min and will take place rain or shine! No registration is required, just show up at the starting point at the scheduled time.

 

On April 15th, meet at Skwo:wech Elementary School (Devoy Street Entrance) at 5:30pm. The walking route will be through the Massey-Victory Heights Neighbourhood. This walk will give an opportunity to learn more about New Westminster’s Official Community Plan and the new People, Parks and Play plan for the City’s Parks!

 

The route is approximately 25min and 1.5km loop with some steep grades.
