April 16, 2026
12:00 pm
1:00 pm
Victoria Hill neighbourhood, New Westminster
As part of the WALK30 Challenge, Mayor Johnstone is hosting weekly walks. Walk different neighbourhoods around New Westminster, chat about the City, and get your steps in!

Walks take place rain or shine. No registration necessary—just show up at the starting point at the scheduled time.

On Thursday April 16, join Mayor Patrick Johnstone on a beautiful nature walk in Victoria Hill and Glenbrook Ravine and chat about park spaces and invasive species!

About the route

This route is approximately 55 minutes and is a 3km loop with some stairs, uneven paths, and moderate hills.

The walk will begin at Queen's Park Arena and will continue into the Victoria Hill neighbourhood. The walking route will follow the McBride Pedestrian Overpass, and up onto Ross Drive and Blackberry Drive before entering the Glenbrook Ravine trail. After going down Glenbrook Ravine, the walk will follow East Columbia Street and up onto Francis Way, before returning to Queen's Park.
