Walk30 Challenge
The City of New Westminster is supporting WALK30 for another year, and 2026 marks 10 years for the challenge!
WALK30 is a friendly competition designed to encourage and inspire people to establish a daily walking routine. Participants are challenged to walk 30 minutes daily for 30 days, track their progress, and build a consistent habit of walking. The goal is to determine which participating municipality or organization can accumulate the highest total minutes of walking per capita.
The best part? Any reason for walking counts! Whether you're walking to work, walking to a meeting, walking to lunch, walking to stretch your legs...how and when you walk is up to you!
