Speaking at a Public Hearing

Public Hearings are open to everyone. All persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by a proposed land use application are welcome to speak at the Public Hearing or submit written comments.

Attend the Public Hearing in-person and share your views. Advance registration is recommended but not required for in-person speakers. Alternatively, register in advance by no later than 12:00 p.m. on the date of the Public Hearing to speak virtually by computer, smart device, or phone. To register, you must complete and submit a Request to Speak Form. Once registered, details needed to participate virtually will be shared.  Speakers will be given up to 5 minutes to share their views. If you are unable to attend, or if you wish to submit your comments in written form, you may do so as follows:

All submissions will form part of the public record of the Public Hearing and be published on the City’s website. Once the Public Hearing has concluded, no further information or submissions may be considered by Council.
