Nighttime Warming Centres

For the 2025-2026 season the Nighttime Warming Centre was located at 40 Begbie Street (the Purpose Society Health Contact Centre). The Nighttime Warming Centres were funding by Health Canada's Emergency Treatment Fund. 

Nighttime Warming Centres are activated in specific conditions:

• When temperatures are at or below 0 degrees Celsius
• When there is snow accumulation with low temperatures close to 0 degrees Celsius

Guests were able to dry off, get warm, access sleeping mats, washrooms, coffee, drinks, food, and clothing.
