Volunteering allows you to make a difference in your community and your life. The experience is rewarding, a networking opportunity, a chance to make new friends, and can lead to job opportunities with City of New Westminster.

There are current opportunities for volunteers, 14+ years, to help at our summer day camp programs. Each week accumulates approximately 35 hours of volunteer experience and is applicable towards fulfilling high school work experience requirements. Volunteers are expected to support Recreation Program Leaders running games, crafts, and supervising children on field trips, at indoor and outdoor locations. There are also opportunities for volunteers to support art and theatre camps at Anvil Centre and the New Media Gallery.

Requirements: A two-week commitment and attendance at orientation, June 20, 4:30 - 6:30 pm.
