Hume Park Sport Courts will be closed for maintenance and repair work beginning in late July with an expected reopening date in October 2023. During this time, the sport courts will be unavailable. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained, and there should be no significant impact on vehicle traffic in the area.

Repairs will focus on addressing surface cracks, delamination, and involve applying acrylic surfacing and repainting sport lines. These improvements aim to enhance the recreational experience and accommodate both tennis and pickleball.

Also beginning in late July, the lighting system at Sapperton Park field will be upgraded. The work will involve transitioning to LED sport field lighting and installing a related control system. This project is scheduled to take place from July to October 2023. During this time, the field will remain open to permitted groups. Click here to request a field booking.
